As submitted in the funding bid, the Living through Landscapes project set out to achieve the following outcomes:

  • Outcome 1 – The project will increase the amount of time people with dementia will spendĀ engaged in meaningful activities in the outside space. It will also diversify the use of the outside spaces;
  • Outcome 2 – The project will improve the functionality of the outside space in dementia care settings;
  • Outcome 3 – The project will have direct positive impacts on the health and well-being of people living with dementia;
  • Outcome 4 – The project will equip service providers with the training and resources necessary to create more and better opportunities for service users to use and connect with the outside space.

Each outcome was measured according to agreed indicators that described how change has taken place, what the change looks like and when the change was achieved.

Additionally, the project noted outcomes that cannot be fully measured or were not fully anticipated at the outset.
